Sasol FuelEasy: fees, rebates and who it suits
🇿🇦 Cardless NFC tag (Sasol only) fuel card from Sasol. Figures below were read from the issuer's own pages on 19 Oct 2026.
How South Africa's regulated fuel price affects fuel cards
In South Africa the retail petrol price is regulated and set monthly, and retailers may not give consumers a benefit on a petrol sale. The retail diesel price is not regulated (only a wholesale list price is published). So card discounts are diesel-only: for petrol vehicles a card is worth its fees, controls, toll handling and credit terms, not a pump discount. Per-fuel-transaction fees are common, so we show them separately.
