Key facts only, trimmed to fit; each card's page has the full wording, sources and checked dates. "Sites" is the issuer's own claim. "Not published" means we couldn't find the figure on the issuer's public pages. "Unverified" values are partly confirmed; see the card page for why.

Where can you fill up?

Austria's forecourts are led by OMV (with Avanti, Diskont and AP), Shell (with Turmöl), bp and Circle K, while DKV, UTA, RMC and Eurowag run multi-brand networks. Prices are in euro. Some fees come from the issuers' sales partners (Maschinenring and BAWAG for OMV, EnergieDirect for Shell); we label those.

  1. OMV group

    • OMV
    • Avanti
    • Diskont
    • AP
    • Petrom

The OMV Card with ROUTEX works at OMV, Avanti, Diskont (at Hofer car parks), AP and Petrom stations plus Routex partners: 21,000+ stations in 34 countries (partner pages). OMV doesn't publish fees itself; its sales partners do: Maschinenring €2.50 excl. VAT per card a month, BAWAG €3 incl. VAT plus 0.29% of the gross invoice for monthly billing. The E-Mobility Card is €4.90 excl. VAT a month, and partner discounts are 3–5 c/L. Stationskarte plus is Austria-only, for up to 5 vehicles or 10,000 L a year. Net invoicing, monthly; international tolls.1234

  2. Shell and Turmöl

    • Shell
    • Turmöl

Shell Card: about 845 stations after the 2023 Turmöl partnership (Shell); reseller EnergieDirect says about 800. EnergieDirect's prices: Kompakt €0 per card a month for up to 5 cards; Business Comfort priced individually; Premium + Charge €6 per card a month incl. VAT, including EV charging. Toll (Maut) and vignette payments. Turmöl (260+ locations) has been run by ORLEN Austria since its 2023 sale; its own Austrocard covers about 350 stations (third-party figure, trend.at). Turmöl accepts DKV, UTA, Hoyer, Eurowag, RMC and pink cards.56

  3. pink

    • pink
    • Turmöl (participating)

pink Card: free, with 1 c/L off at pink and participating Turmöl stations.7

    Cards: pink Card

  4. bp and Circle K

    • bp
    • Circle K

bp Plus: the only figures we found are from a 2021 ÖAMTC member offer: 700+ stations with Turmöl and Avanti acceptance and €1.50 per card a month (2021 figure, likely outdated). Circle K's Fleet Card (issued from Germany) lists 324 acceptance points in Austria, 168 suitable for trucks, and pays ASFINAG tolls.9

Cards: None listed: bp and Circle K don't publish Austrian card fees.

Multi-brand cards

  • DKV Card (Austria) No joining fee, annual fee or minimum spend; monthly fees from €0.95 per card, while the DKV Card itself charges transaction fees instead (not published). DKV gives no Austrian count.10
  • RMC Tankkarte No base fee, permanently; 4,300+ stations in 19 countries, including Enilive (Agip), Genol, Orlen/Turmöl and Tankpool.8

Cross-refuelling in short

OMV, Avanti, Diskont, AP and Petrom form one family; Routex links OMV with bp/Aral, Circle K and Eni abroad; Shell works with Turmöl; DKV, UTA, RMC and Eurowag are multi-brand. UTA counts 2,170+ Austrian stations; Eurowag is in its Prime network here but gives no count. We haven't yet checked the Eni/Agip Multicard, Avanti, Genol, JET, Lagerhaus, Tankpool24 or WEX cards for Austria. Tax (check current rules with your tax adviser): there's no input VAT (Vorsteuer) deduction on fuel for cars, estate cars (Kombi) or motorcycles; approved small vans (Fiskal-LKW) and minibuses qualify if used at least 10% for business, and zero-CO2 cars are an exception. Agricultural diesel relief (Agrardiesel) of about 15.5–16 c/L is due to be paid in Dec 2026.1113
