Key facts only, trimmed to fit; each card's page has the full wording, sources and checked dates. "Sites" is the issuer's own claim. "Not published" means we couldn't find the figure on the issuer's public pages. "Unverified" values are partly confirmed; see the card page for why.

Where can you fill up?

Irish forecourts are reached through a few overlapping networks: the Texaco fastfuel family, the Diesel Card Ireland (DCI) network, and own-brand cards such as Circle K, Maxol and Corrib Oil. Prices are in euro in the Republic and sterling in Northern Ireland.

  1. Texaco fastfuel family

    • Texaco
    • Maxol
    • Certa
    • Emo
    • Great Gas

Texaco fastfuel: all Texaco, Maxol, Certa, Emo and Great Gas stations in the Republic, over 450 sites (Radius counts 150+ Texaco-branded). Texaco's Diesel Card for HGVs adds the DCI network, about 1,500 sites in all. Certa (DCC's new name for Emo): 1,600+ sites on Emo's site page, 1,000+ across the UK, ROI and NI on another page.1234

  2. Diesel Card Ireland (DCI) network

    • Emo
    • Maxol
    • Top
    • Inver
    • Texaco
    • Certa
    • Swift
    • Solo

DCI One, Pump Saver and Radius One (Radius): 2,000+ Irish sites, 650+ for HGVs; fees not published. Radius One adds 4,800+ EV charge points. The brands listed here are Radius's; a reseller's list adds Applegreen, Circle K, Corrib and Esso. Inver's card runs on DCI (Inver says 1,900+, unconfirmed). A reseller says 1,200+ DCI core sites give an extra 5c/L (unconfirmed). Applegreen: one Radius page says all Applegreen sites accept Radius cards, its DCI page says 'many but not all'.56789

  3. Own-brand cards

    • Circle K
    • Maxol
    • Corrib Oil
    • Applegreen

Circle K pro (ROI and NI): about 430 stations incl. 378 staffed (other Circle K pages say 420+ and 450); card fee and discount not published ('a discount on every liter'); abroad it works across Routex, 20,000+ stations in 32 countries. Maxol: 240+ Maxol stations and a '700+ stations' network (a reseller says 600); fees not published. Corrib Oil: 550+ sites across Corrib, Circle K and Texaco, 'No Charges'. Applegreen: we found no current Applegreen card page; an old LowFuelCard page gave 200+ sites (2021 count).10111213

Cross-refuelling in short

Ireland's networks overlap more than most: Texaco fastfuel covers five brands, the DCI network covers most of the rest, and Corrib's card spans Corrib, Circle K and Texaco. We found no dated reciprocal deals between Irish brands. Northern Ireland: DCI has about 400 NI sites, Radius's Pump Saver page gives 4,600 across the UK, and an older Radius page says DCI is only for businesses in NI and the Republic. Resellers report their own networks: Fuelwise 1,538 ROI sites and 5,298 in total (Feb 2024, £15 annual card fee); CSC 1,200+ ROI, 400+ NI and 3,500+ GB. Esso: we found no Irish Esso card page. For trips abroad, Circle K (Routex) and Radius EDC (19,000+ stations in 15 countries) reach furthest; see the Europe page.6141516
