No cards match those filters. Try "Any" fleet size or a shorter search.
Key facts only, trimmed to fit; each card's page has the full wording, sources and checked dates. "Sites" is the issuer's own claim. "Not published" means we couldn't find the figure on the issuer's public pages. "Unverified" values are partly confirmed; see the card page for why.
Where can you fill up?
Cross-border fuel cards come in three groups: cards on the Routex alliance of oil brands, the oil companies' own Europe cards, and independent multi-brand networks that aren't tied to one brand. Station counts are the issuers' own; where their pages disagree we show a range.
Routex alliance
- Aral
- bp
- Circle K
- Enilive (Eni)
- OMV
- AVIA (since 2025)
Routex is an alliance, not a card issuer: Aral, bp, Circle K, Enilive and OMV each issue their own cards, and each is accepted across the shared network. Routex gives about 30,000 stations in 32 countries in one place and 21,000+ in 34 in another; bp's pages say 24,000 to 30,000+ in 32 countries. Circle K Europe card: 20,000 sites in 33 countries, with tolls and VAT and diesel-tax refunds. Enilive Multicard: 21,000 stations in 34 countries. Each partner is strongest in its home region: Aral in Germany and Luxembourg, Enilive in southern and central Europe, OMV in central and eastern Europe, Circle K in the Nordics and Baltics. AVIA joined Routex on 31 Mar 2025. Older bp pages list Cepsa in Spain, but Routex's participant list doesn't (unverified).123456

Oil-company Europe cards
- Shell
- Esso
- TotalEnergies
- AS 24
Shell Card Europe (run by Corpay, formerly Fleetcor): 26,000 stations plus 1 million+ charge points, and it pays tolls, tunnels, bridges and ferries; card fees 'from €0', with no figures published. Esso Card Europe (WEX Europe Services): 13,300 to 13,500 stations (WEX's pages also disagree on the country count) and pays continental tolls; fees not published. TotalEnergies Fleet: 18,000 stations in 12 countries plus 3,300 in France. AS 24, TotalEnergies' truck network, runs its own truck stations (counts vary from about 1,000 to 2,000+). Circle K took over TotalEnergies' stations and cards in Germany and the Netherlands in 2023 and 2024; the stations keep the TotalEnergies brand.7891011

Independent multi-brand networks
- DKV
- UTA Edenred
- Eurowag
- Radius EDC
- WEX
These aren't tied to one oil brand. Eurowag (Prague): 15,000+ fuel stations (30 countries on one Eurowag page, 25 on another), credit with an individual limit, VAT refunds across the EU, UK and Norway; fees not published, and secondary sources describe it as strongest in Central and Eastern Europe. Radius EDC: 'over 19,000 fuel stations in 15 European countries' (Ireland, UK, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Denmark, Slovenia and Austria), with tolls and VAT recovery; fees not published.12132614
Multi-brand cards with published fees
- DKV Card (Europe) Around 70,000 stations in 50+ countries and about 1 million charge points; tolls through DKV BOX EUROPE; VAT refunds through DKV. Also covers Norway, Switzerland, the UK and Turkey.1516
- UTA Edenred fuel card UTA publishes no station count; third-party figures range from 55,000 to 89,000, depending on what is counted. VAT and diesel-excise refunds with pre-financing through Edenred Finance.1718
Cross-refuelling in short
Dated deals: bp/Aral and Total agreed reciprocal acceptance from 2018 (in France it is one-way; see the France page). Esso and bp cards have been accepted at each other's UK sites since 2016. Aral and AVIA announced mutual acceptance on 26 Mar 2024, and AVIA joined Routex on 31 Mar 2025. Shell and Esso accept each other's cards in several countries (we found no date). For the most brands on one card, use an independent network (DKV, UTA, Eurowag, Radius EDC or WEX); for a mostly national fleet that occasionally crosses a border, a national card with a Routex, Shell or Esso Europe option may be enough.2324256
Which card for which fleet
- International trucking DKV, UTA or Eurowag: broad truck networks, toll boxes and VAT refunds on one account.
- Mostly one country, occasional trips abroad A national oil-company card with Europe acceptance (Routex partners, Shell, Esso Europe) or a national card with a Europe option such as Travelcard.
- Nordics and Baltics Circle K and the Routex alliance are strongest there.
- Central and Eastern Europe Eurowag and OMV (Routex) are most often cited (secondary sources).
