Cheapest fleet fuel cards in South Africa, by published fees
South African fleet and garage cards ranked by the recurring card fees each issuer publishes, worked out for a 5-vehicle fleet. Most South African issuers don't publish their card fees, so most cards here are listed without a rank. Per-fuel-transaction fees are common and shown alongside.
Figures from issuers' own pages, latest check 19 Oct 2026. Fees change, so confirm with the issuer before applying.

Methodology: monthly total = the issuer's published per-card, account, plan or package fees for 5 cards, using the same fee model as our fleet calculator (lowest published plan where there are several; £/$/€0 where the issuer says there are no card or account fees). Amounts are as published, so some exclude VAT/GST. Per-transaction and low-spend fees are shown, not added. Pump prices, per-litre margins, network and late fees are not included. Equal totals share a rank (=).
How South Africa's regulated fuel price affects fuel cards
In South Africa the retail petrol price is regulated and set monthly, and retailers may not give consumers a benefit on a petrol sale. The retail diesel price is not regulated (only a wholesale list price is published). So card discounts are diesel-only: for petrol vehicles a card is worth its fees, controls, toll handling and credit terms, not a pump discount. Per-fuel-transaction fees are common, so we show them separately.
